Ravenswood House offers outstanding accommodation in Fort William. Our magnificent Victorian property boasts breathtaking views over the West Highland Railway Line to Loch Linnhe, the Ardgour Hills, Ben Nevis and the surrounding countryside. In the summer month, you can even catch a glimpse of the Jacobite Steam train (aka Hogwarts Express) which passes the garden. We are perfect for a memorable holiday in a lovely part of Inverness-shire.
Our impressive Victorian villa dates from 1890 and is brimming with charm, character and fascinating history. Gorgeous features have been retained, including a wonderful glazed cupola and fireplace, whilst offering high-quality accommodation.
We have 3 spacious and cosy bedrooms available. The rooms are in keeping with the style of the house whilst offering a contemporary twist, including fabrics and furnishings from Scottish designers. Each room has en suite facilities or a private bathroom, and we offer luxurious complimentary toiletries, handmade locally by the Highland Soap Company. All the rooms come with complimentary sweet treats, Smart TVs with Netflix, hairdryers and silent mini-fridges stocked with water, orange juice and fresh milk.
You can savour a delicious continental breakfast to set you up for the day ahead. We use excellent homemade and local produce where possible. We serve a self-service buffet, including cereals, homemade granola, traditional porridge, fresh sliced fruits bowl, yoghurt, cheese and cold cuts charcuterie, boiled eggs and freshly baked pastries. Whilst enjoying breakfast you can admire the spectacular views of Loch Linnhe and the surrounding mountains.
Fort William is known as the ‘Outdoor Capital of the UK’, a true haven for outdoor lovers. Ben Nevis is the highest mountain in the UK and great for keen hikers. The Steall Waterfall and surrounding area is perfect for exploring. Further attractions to visit include:
