Pennygate Lodge offers exquisite accommodation in a stunning part of Scotland, on the Isle of Mull. We are comfortable walking distance from local amenities in Craignure and an ideal base from which to explore this beautiful Island. Our guest house offers comfortable and elegant accommodation, perfect for those who are wanting to rest, relax and recuperate. The house stands proudly amongst extensive lawns and enjoys wonderful views over Craignure Bay.
We have six guest rooms available, all of which have been decorated and furnished to the highest of standards and ensuring we are providing guests with only the very best. From comfortable beds with Hypnos mattresses, dressed in high quality bed linen to our lavish, top of the range bathroom fixtures, we have carefully thought about every detail. Breakfast and dinner are served in the very special setting of the dining room: this handsome room is decorated in heritage colours set against hand-picked antique pieces. Its tall ceilings make it an imposing space, softened by delightful ambient lighting and delicate furnishings and china. Our passion is to showcase the very best of Mull’s wonderful rich larder. We use stunning local produce combined with herbs and leaves our own garden, perfect for a wonderful dining experience. The dining room looks out onto Craignure Bay and you can watch ferries coming in and out as you dine. Breakfast is served between 7.30 am and 9.30 am each morning. Packed lunches are available by arrangement.
Fitness retreats are also available, including yoga, walking, wild swimming and hiking.
Mull has something for everyone – a destination where history is around every corner and where you have the chance to live a lifestyle far removed from the hectic pressures of everyday life. Our Island has an enviable array of habitats, from the Ben More mountain range to the coastline of rocky outcrops and white sandy beaches. It is no surprise, therefore, that Mull is a wildlife enthusiast’s dream.

Our restaurant is open to residents and non-residents, with a focus on quality and locally sourced food. We aim to make the most of the Scottish and Mull larder, showcasing the finest that the area has to offer. He dishes we serve are elegant, yet unfussy, with the pride of place given to the excellent ingredients we use and ensuring they are well prepared. The wine list as also been carefully selected, to represent excellent vintages ad provenance, whilst appealing to a variety of palates. Guests can also choose from a range of classic Scottish whiskies, gin and other well-known spirits.
