The Playden Oasts Inn is a charming inn located in the village of Playden just one mile from historic Rye, East Sussex. This is the ideal accommodation for those looking for a short break or one night stay.

We offer eight fully en suite bedrooms in our country hotel set in the small village of Playden, within walking distance of Rye. If you are looking for a weekend break or just an overnight stay during the week this is the perfect home from home experience. In total, we have 5 doubles, 2 kings and 1 family room & 1 small cottage to choose from.

We have two beautiful, large round guest bedrooms in the heart of the oasts building. Each guest bedroom is furnished in a traditional country style with its own television as well as tea and coffee making facilities, hairdryer and iron.

The inn has 2 delightful restaurants within our establishment (one of which is dog friendly) offering a wide range of locally sourced dishes, along with traditional Sunday roasts, we are sure to cater for all your culinary desires. Whether it be fresh Rye Bay fish, Romney Marsh lamb, Sussex reared beef, or a vegetarian dish, our head chef Nick Sellman produces dishes that will definitely satisfy your taste buds.

Rates: From 100 per room per night based on 2 people sharing which includes breakfast.
From £150 per family room per night & the Cottage from £170 per night, again including breakfast.
Children are welcome.
Pets are allowed by arrangement but only in our ground floor rooms & Cottage.
