The Running Horses Hotel is a traditional English Inn offering bed & breakfast with a superb restaurant situated on the Old London Road at the centre of the beautiful little village of Mickleham between Dorking and Leatherhead.
Reputedly built in the 16th Century, The Running Horses Hotel was once a coach house servicing the main route from London to the South and has been a Traditional English Hostelry for some 400 years.

For those wanting a long, hot soak, we recommend Text taken from thebandbdirectory.co.uk rooms Ascot and Epsom, which both have roll top baths and luxury rain showers. Rooms Cheltenham, Windsor and Sandown are all equipped with luxury rain showers only.
The Gatehouse is located 50 metres from the Running Horses. It is a haven of peace and privacy, a real get away from it all. It comprises of a small lounge, bedroom with en suite bathroom with noble isle toiletries. Nespresso coffee machine with a selection of hot drinks, to wake you up first thing in the morning, as well as still and sparkling water. Fresh milk is available from the bar too. TV and free Wi-Fi is also available. It also has its own designated car parking space alongside the cottage.
The pub’s menu focuses on traditional, rustic British food. The kitchen is open serving lunch and dinner using local and seasonal ingredients where possible. Food can be enjoyed in the former restaurant area of the pub, but since the makeover, we like to think of it as an extension of the bar now. There is also a new bar menu too, which changes daily, offering a quick bite to eat or snack throughout the day. We’ve carefully selected our bar range to ensure wide variety combining high quality, to suit all tastes. We have spirits, beers and wines from all over the world.
