Bickleigh Castle offers fabulous accommodation in the heart of the Devon countryside within its 45-acre estate. With its unspoilt and tranquil setting, it’s hard to believe our Castle is only 20 minutes away from M5 Junction 27 and Tiverton Parkway & Exeter St. David’s train stations.
All our guest bedrooms at our bed and breakfast are tastefully decorated in a cottage style and furnished to a high standard, with tea and coffee-making facilities, televisions & Wi-Fi access in the guest sitting room. There are various-sized B&B rooms available, most of which are en suite apart from the family apartments which have two bedrooms and a shared bathroom. The bridal suite or Tudor bedroom is in the Castle itself; with its large and elegant 4-poster Tudor bed, it provides the perfect sanctuary following a wedding, birthday or other celebration.
Breakfast is served in the Orangery between 8.30 am – 9.30 am and is made using locally sourced produce wherever possible. An extensive continental breakfast is served and a cooked breakfast is available upon request for a small charge.
Guests are welcome to relax in the large, comfortable sitting room at any time; this provides a warm and welcoming environment, perfect for reflecting on the day’s events and planning the next day’s activities. We offer total flexibility to enable you to tailor your event as you wish. We have a host of tried and tested suppliers, caterers, housekeepers and waiters to support you if you choose or you are welcome to be totally self catering, self-arranged and left to your own devices.
We are close to local amenities in the village of Bickleigh and Tiverton, a pleasant market town, and are the perfect destination for a break away, holiday with the family or as a venue for your special day. There are many local walks and our lane is suitable for cycling. The city of Exeter is only 8 miles away. A local pub half a mile down the road serves evening meals.
