The Priory offers outstanding accommodation in Wareham, Dorset. Located on the bank of the River Frome, we offer boutique facilities and a memorable fine dining experience.
Our special hotel was once a monastery and still retains many original features. We now offer luxurious accommodation in a gorgeous setting, including 4 acres of beautiful gardens to explore. You can stay in the main house or the boat house, which looks over the riverbank. The Priory offers the charm of a quintessential Grade II Listed English country, whilst offering high quality facilities. All the rooms are individually furnished and brimming with unique character. Some of the rooms boast views of the river, Purbeck Hills, private gardens or inner courtyard.
Five types of rooms are available: a small courtyard double, classic double, deluxe double, superior double/twin and a lavish mini suite. Rooms are also available in the boat house which comes with super rooms and twin rooms. You can enjoy a stunning dining experience in our new garden room restaurant. The restaurant boasts ceiling height windows, green oak beams and luxury Mulberry interiors. You dine whilst savouring views of our lawn and down to the river. We use the best, locally sourced produce, inspired by both European and international cuisine, along with traditional French and English dishes.
