Yew Tree House Bed & Breakfast

Berrow, Burnham on Sea, Somerset

Facilities

Description

Yew Tree House Bed & Breakfast is a 17th Century property that offers spacious accommodation located in a quiet lane within the quiet village of Berrow, Somerset which is convenient for visiting Burnham on Sea which is 9 minutes away.

There are 7 comfortable, spacious, period, en suite rooms, all individually decorated and furnished to a high standard with all modern requirements including full central heating, colour television and tea and coffee making facilities. There are 2 B&B rooms on the ground floor with easy access from the car park behind the house in the converted stable block.

We have a large dining room where breakfast is usually served between 8.00 and 9.30. It can be served earlier if required. There is a spacious guest lounge, with comfortable chairs and settee where our guests are welcome to watch television or just sit and relax. The lounge is equipped with Freeview TV and wireless internet.

A 10 minute walk from the bed and breakfast and you will reach the Berrow Nature Reserve, dunes and beach. The beach is a 7 mile long stretch Text taken from thebandbdirectory.co.uk of sand going to Brean Down in the north and Burnham on Sea in the south. The area is a fantastic place to walk, run and ride & there are great views out to Wales and Exmoor. Brean Down is the last of the Mendip Hills and stretches out into the Bristol Channel with a fort at the far end. On the walk south to Burnham on Sea you will pass the wreck of the SS Nornen, the beach lighthouse and finally you will reach the seaside town itself.

About 22 miles away is Wells, the smallest city in England. The city is famous for its cathedral and school at the centre of the town and its community. The area around the cathedral is one of the largest medieval ecclesiastical precincts.
