Y Goeden Eirin offers superb accommodation in the hamlet of Dolydd near Caernarfon. The property in Gwynedd was once a granite cowshed and has now been transformed to offer quality accommodation.
We offer luxurious accommodation for six people. A large double room in the main comes with a TV, settee and desk. A bathroom comes with a bath and separate shower. The room comes with wonderful fluffy towels and sumptuous toiletries.
Our renovated outbuildings come brimming with character and charm. They boast slate floors and underfloor heating. These unit are called Cwt Môr and Cwt Mynydd (Sea and Mountain Rooms). Cwt Môr is a twin and Cwt Mynydd is a double. Each room comes with a TV and tea and coffee making facilities. You will even be welcomed with a carafe of sherry, fresh fruit and biscuits or Welsh cakes. The ideal start to your holiday. In the summer you can dine outside on the slate table.
Breakfast is served in the dining room, amongst contemporary paintings by Welsh artists. Locally sourced food is cooked on the Aga. From scrambled eggs with smoked salmon to a traditional breakfast, we have something to suit all your needs.
The accommodation is in a peaceful setting, however you are only a stone’s throw away from amenities and attractions. The area is a wonderful place for walking, fishing, cycling and horse riding. Great attractions to visit include:
