Description

Ty'r Graig Castle in Barmouth, Gwynedd, offers superb accommodation in a stunning location. Situated on a clifftop between the mountains and the sea, we will prove to be a memorable holiday destination.

Our wonderful hotel enjoys far-reaching views of Cardigan Bay, making us the perfect holiday destination to relax and unwind. The hotel retains many of its original features whilst offering all the modern comforts expected of modern accommodation. We offer accommodation in 11 bedrooms and all are individually decorated and furnished to a high standard. All the rooms have en suite bathrooms or showers and include a range of excellent facilities: tea and coffee making facilities, hairdryer and LCD TV and DVD player.

The hotel boasts an elegant and relaxing Text taken from thebandbdirectory.co.uk lounge with a selection of books and board games to enjoy whilst sitting in front of a crackling fire.

We have an excellent restaurant which offers a traditional and contemporary menu. To compliment your meal we have a superb selection of wines to choose from and we are open to non-residents as well.

If you are looking for somewhere unique and intimate to celebrate your special day then give us a call to discuss your requirements and we will gladly give you a quote for your wedding reception dinner, evening buffet and accommodation. We specialise in small wedding receptions of up to 40 dinner guests.

Ty'r Graig Castle is situated high above Barmouth on the edge of Snowdonia National Park. With Snowdon only 20 miles north and Cader Idris just across the Mawddach estuary to the South and much lesser-known but equally beautiful hills in between, this area is second to none for those who wish to get off the beaten track and discover the rawness of the Welsh terrain. Barmouth Railway Bridge is a 5-minute walk from the town and Barmouth Market is every Thursday throughout the year and most Sundays and Bank Holiday Mondays during holiday periods.
