Y Pengwern is in the village of Llan Ffestiniog in Gwynedd and offers a comfortable and homely place to stay for those looking to explore the Snowdonia National Park. Whether you are in the area for a short break or a long stay we look forward to welcoming you.
Guests can choose from one of nine guest rooms, eight of which are en suite. Dogs are also very welcome to stay at no extra charge, please just advise when booking. Our non-en suite budget double room has private bathroom facilities.
A self-service continental buffet is included within the room rate and a cooked breakfast is available at an extra cost. Breakfast is cooked fresh to order and made using locally sourced produce wherever possible. Please do advise when booking if you have any special dietary requirements.
Our bar is open to both residents and non-residents. Enjoy a drink with your loved ones in our lounge bar or a game of darts or pool in the games room. When weather permits take your drinks into the large beer garden which allows stunning views of the Welsh mountains. The garden is looked after by volunteers, each owning and tending their own bit of garden.
